Beyonce Receives Billboard Millennium Award and Performs Run the World (Girls) at Billboard Music Awards

Recently, Beyonce has been the most popular singer all over the Internet and the real world. She premiered Run the World (Girls) music video last week. The video received millions of views everyday on YouTube. She has just received the Billboard Millennium Award at Billblard Music Awards aired on ABC on May 22. During the awards ceremony, the 29-year-old recording artist performs her latest single Run the World (Girls) with a lot of female dancers. Then she was presented the Millennium Award and made a speech to thank all the people suppports her.

Run The World (Girls) is the lead single off Beyonce's upcoming studio album 4. Last week, the accompanying music video was just released on American Idol and her official website. The video has drawn 20 million views on YouTube in just 7 days! However, the "female-empowerment" song video has attracted a flood of opposition - getting 46,460 dislikes among 138,522 votes. Beyonce performs the song on the stage of Billboard Music Awards and receives the Millennium Award, declaring that the ladies revolution has begun and women is going to rule the world.
